In addition to failing yet again to nominate RUSH, the committee has also chosen to pass up Stevie Ray Vaughn for the umpteenth time, while nominating a short-lived rapper and fucking Donovan. I hate Donovan. Mellow Yellow my ass.
Anyway, the full list of nominees is as follows:
Alice Cooper definitely deserves to be in, and I can begrudgingly give the nod to Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, and the Beastie Boys. But J. Geils Band, Chic, and Dr. John? Surely RUSH and SRV rank higher? What about KISS?
Don't get me started on LL Cool J. The fact that he is on this list is actually offensive. The Hall is looking more and more like a joke every year. This sucks.
